About
Yeoshin
Yeoshin (yuh-shin) is a Korean artist working with both traditional and modern Asian art materials and styles.
Her work is driven by her love of nature and follows the natural beauty provided by her surroundings. This can come out in the form of the ten plant types that traditionally make up Korean art, her interpretation of Korean and American landscapes, or other experimental works. She approaches her subjects in a relaxed and meditative manner, and seeks to convey their innate poetry to the audience.
Yeoshin started her career over a decade ago under the tutelage of Lee Dong Il in Seoul, South Korea. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Seoul. Yeoshin relocated to the Tri-State area in 2018 and currently shows her work at The Artery Gallery, an artist cooperative in Milford, PA.
